Manicure
The Manicure is a very popular treatment; it involves treatment of the nails, cuticles and hands. A full consultation will normally take place at the first treatment. This will establish the condition of the nails, cuticles and hands enabling the Therapist to advise and select treatments accordingly. It is also important for the Therapist to understand the lifestyle of the client as this may often contribute to the condition of the hands and nails.

At Beauty in Mind we use the Jessica nail treatment system; this System is seen on some of the most famous nails in the world.
The cornerstone of the system - Custom Basics
The cornerstone of the system is to identify the nail type as not all nails are alike! As hair and skin differ from person to person - oily or dry, normal or damaged - so do nails. Jessica learned, hands-on, that one treatment cannot be right for everyone. So we customise basecoats for specific nail types - to make sure you have exactly what you need for the lifelong health of your nails.

Le Remedi Hand Treatment
A wonderful addition to any Jessica manicure or it can be used on its own. It leaves the skin feeling silky smooth, conditioned, moisturised and feeling firmer. The products for this treatment can also be purchased for home use.
The First Stage - Handcleanse
Handcleanse be used every time you wash your hands instead of soap, it is so versatile it can be used all over the body as a shower or bath gel. It contains Camomile, Aloe Vera, Sodium Hyaluronate and Wheat Protein that will help leave your skin feeling beautifully cleansed, soothed and moisturised.
The Second Stage - Handsilk Exfoliare
This light yet effective cream with a combination of ingredients will help to remove the build up of excess dead cells on the surface of the skin that can otherwise give it a dry and crepey appearance. It helps leave the skin feeling purer, brighter, moisturised, polished and silky smooth and ready to absorb the benefits of the next product in the LeRemedi by Jessica Hand Treatment Programme. Contains gentle exfoliating grains, Grape Seed Oil, Glycolic Acid, Extracts of Cucumber, Comfrey and Papaya, blended together with the AHA's of Passionflower, Lemon, Grape and Pineapple Extract.
The Third Stage - Hand Restructure Masque
A balanced treatment enriched with Vitamin's A & E and Red Seaweed. Working together with Aloe Vera, Camomile, Wheat Protein, and Macadamia Nut Oil it helps to leave the skin feeling conditioned, moisturised and silky smooth.
The Fourth Stage - Hand Renew Liposomes

Manicure FAQ
Q - My cuticles are dry and split easily, can a manicure help this?
A - Yes. Dry, dead cuticle can be removed and new cuticle conditioned. Heat packs and moisturisers may be applied and advice will be given depending on your lifestyle. Working with paper can sometimes contribute to dry, split cuticles, in addition to contact with detergents, too hot water, biting cuticles, to name but a few.
Q - My nails are really short as they break off. I am too embarrassed to go for a Manicure,
A - Please do not feel embarrassed as it is not a requirement to have long nails for a manicure. You are a perfect client with long or short nails or dry and bitten cuticles. When you book a Manicure our therapists will identify the reasons for your nail condition and advise you on the best course of treatments and aftercare.
